Cupcake Decorations at Vicky's Pretties ♥

I came across these little cupcake beauties on a fab new website called 'Vicky's Pretties' with a love for all things creative and homemade. It has a lovely shabby chic feel and these hanging cupcake felt decorations are defo one for the collection, with the added bonus that you will be supporting handmade in Britain. ♥ There are many other items available online including, cushions, jewellery, picture frames and other hanging decorations but of course the cupcakes caught my eye...I think a few of these are needed in the kitchen for some baking inspiration....LOVE X

Cupcake Toothpaste!

I had to share this find I came across while out shopping during a recent trip to LA...Cupcake flavoured toothpaste!! Crazy stuff!! Love the 'Makes your breath frosting fresh' bit...brilliant! Haha. One for the cupcake collection :p ♥

Strawberry & Blueberry Cupcakes ♥

After getting 2 lovely cake stands for my birthday I thought it was time to put them to good use for my birthday party with a selection of yummy cupcakes!! Pretty pastels, edible pink glitter, sugardough flowers and rice paper butterflies give a sping feel along with the cute polka dot cake cases...love!
As I had 3 batches to make (36 in total) I decided on a quick and easy to make traditional sponge recipe adding fresh strawberries and blueberries to the mixture to add a little extra special flavour. This quick recipe also means extra time for the best bit...the decorating!! (see the recipe below)

Birthday Treat ♥

Fell a little in love as soon as I came across this 'Harlequin Cuckoo Collection' by Wedgwood, especially the teacups...they are FAB!! <3 Made using fine bone china with a lovely gold edge and vintage feel said to 'display a modern interpretation of the early 19th Century Wedgwood pattern' They have been on my wishlist for quite a while so was VERY happy to receive one for my birthday...YAY! Check them out here LOVE!! Now who's for a cup of tea?! ♥

Afternoon Tea

Time for a spot of afternoon tea at  Hey Little Cupcake In Spinningfields Manchester. Can't keep away from this place...it's a little beauty!! ♥ Taking a trip here for my 25th birthday we got a lovely selection of mini cupcakes, scones with jam and cream, strawberries dipped in chocolate and even cute cupcake shaped sandwiches with all of the classic fillings you would expect...delicious!! Not to forget a nice traditional English cup of tea in a cup and saucer. Defo not to be missed...try it out for yourselves sometime :) Enjoy! K x ♥
